After Golden Week, there is an expected increase in space difficulties, as there is already a lack of NOR equipment and a severe reduction in HC units. Some shipowners indicate that it will only be possible to book for the last week of October, while others report that there is no longer availability within the month.

It is currently possible to notice imports where the transit-time exceeds 100 days, due to transshipments and omissions of ships in Brazilian ports. Another problem that is becoming recurrent is the shipowner declining bookings that were already confirmed, in order to pass the same to another agent who is offering a better value for boarding.

As the factories will be closed from October 1st to 7th, the resumption of the production pace will occur slowly, as suppliers need to meet all the accumulated demands, in addition to applications that restrict the use of electricity, motivated by the inability to to supply all the demand of the country.

In addition, this holiday directly impacts shipments scheduled for Black Friday and Christmas in Brazil, where there is already a considerable increase in volumes from China.

The result of this combination of factors is an ever-increasing shortage of equipment and a fiercer fight for space on ships, causing rates to board to continue to rise.
